Problem Note 61660: In SAS® Anti-Money Laundering, when you route an unsaved case, you lose either the changes that you made or the new case owner
In SAS Anti-Money Laundering, you encounter a problem when you route a case that contains unsaved changes. In this scenario, you either lose the unsaved changes to the case or the new owner of the case is not saved when you route it.
You encounter this issue when you perform steps similar to the following:
- Open a case.
- Modify a field in the case. Note the small red star showing that the case has been modified and not saved yet.
- Route the case to another user. A message states that the case was routed successfully. Then, the following dialog box appears:
- If you click Discard, then the following occurs:
- the case's owner is now the routed user
- the unsaved changes are lost
- If you click Save, then the following occurs:
- the changes are saved
- the case's owner is still the former user
Routing an unsaved case currently does not allow you to keep both the unsaved changes and the new owner.
To work around this issue, save any changes to the case first, and then route the case.
