When you execute SAS Customer Intelligence campaigns concurrently, a deadlock situation might occur on the CI_CELL_PACKAGE table. When this problem happens, the following error is displayed in the SASCustIntelCore6.x.log file:

The problem occurs when you use a DELETE, APPEND, or CREATE TABLE statement. For example, if you use an APPEND statement, you might see a message similar to the following in the SASCustIntelCore6.x.log file:

If you use a DELETE statement, you might see a message similar to this one:

If you use the CREATE TABLE statement, the message is similar to the following:

When either of these SAS^® statements are called in the execution of the campaign, the default database lock settings are likely more restrictive.
