You might encounter a problem in which a job reported in the Run Status directive of SAS Data Loader for Hadoop always displays a status of In Progress. The job seems to not complete even though the processes do complete in the Hadoop cluster. The issue can occur under the following conditions:
The issue has been observed when you profile a table containing more than 100 columns but it can also occur with fewer columns. The issue is the result of a lack of resources in the Hadoop cluster. It is caused when resources are not released after all queries to the Hadoop cluster complete execution.
