Problem Note 61009: SAS® Model Manager does not insert a record into a publish-history table when publishing a model project that has more than 36 characters
In SAS Model Manager, when you publish a model project, a message is displayed to indicate a successful operation. However, if you click History ► Published, the table might not have a corresponding record. In this case, the SASModelManager14.1.log file under SAS-Configuration-directory/Web/Logs/SASServer11_1 has an entry like the following:
2017-06-01 12:07:06,089 [tomcat-http--80] ERROR [sasdemo] com.sas.modelmanager.impl.ModelManagementDelegate - Adding publish UDF/EPhistory FAILED.
The problem occurs when these conditions are true.
- You publish to Hadoop, or to a database.
- The model project has a name that contains more than 36 characters, or a champion-model name that contains more than 36 characters.
To work around the problem, name your model project and champion model with fewer than 36 characters.
