Problem Note 61131: Importing a vocabulary using the %brm_import_vocabulary macro gives "ERROR: The CSV file contains invalid data ... The data could not be imported"
When using the %brm_import_vocabulary macro to import vocabularies into SAS® Business Rules Manager, the following error might be displayed:
ERROR: The CSV file contains invalid data. The data could not be imported.
The error is displayed if any vocabulary term is invalid. All vocabulary terms go to the rejected file when any term is invalid, and none of the vocabularies are imported. Neither the log from the macro, nor the CSV of rejected vocabulary terms indicate which term caused the failure.
To work around the problem (ensure that vocabularies can be imported successfully), make sure that your CSV file meets the following requirements:
- Vocabulary names, vocabulary entity names, and vocabulary term names must begin with an alphanumeric.
- Vocabulary names, vocabulary entity names, and vocabulary term names cannot contain a space.
- Vocabularies must have a folder path.
- Do not use XML reserved characters (%, <, >, &).
