Setting the following options in the setenv.bat and setenv.sh files for the web-application server (typically SASServer6_x) that hosts SAS^® Customer Intelligence core enables the core to connect to the Internet through a proxy server.

• -Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy.domain.com
• -Dhttp.proxyPort=80
• -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts="localhost|*.domain.com|etc."
• -Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy.domain.com
• -Dhttps.proxyPort=80
• -Dhttps.nonProxyHosts="localhost|*.domain.com|etc."

However, if the proxy server requires authentication, the following error is displayed when you validate the business context in SAS^® Customer intelligence Studio after you add the SAS^® Digital Marketing integration connection details: 

There is no workaround for this issue other than to use a proxy server that does not require authentication.

• -Dsas.proxyPassword=password
