Problem Note 60284: When replacing a measure in a bar chart, SAS® Visual Designer might unexpectedly also remove a measure
If more than one measure is assigned to a bar chart, SAS Visual Analytics Designer might behave unexpectedly when you replace the first measure listed on the Roles tab. For example, suppose that the following three measures are assigned to your bar chart. They appear in this order on the Roles tab:
- Expense Capital
- Expense Operational
- Expense Raw Material
You replace Expense Capital with Revenue. Unexpectedly, Expense Operational is removed from both the bar chart and the Roles tab. However, if you place your mouse pointer over Expense Operational on the Data tab, you see that it is still shown as being used by the bar chart.
To resolve this issue, you must manually add the removed measure (in this example, Expense Operational) back to the bar chart.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
If more than one measure is assigned to a bar chart, replacing the first measure listed on the Roles tab might remove the second measure listed on the tab. At the same time, the Data tab still says that the removed measure is being used by the bar chart.
