Problem Note 60211: SAS® Enterprise Guide® might revert unsaved changes in linked programs after switching between different programs within the same project
In some cases, SAS Enterprise Guide might revert unsaved changes in linked programs. This problem can occur if the programs are saved on a network share by selecting Save program as ► Servers ► SASApp ► Files ► network share. For example, the following steps would cause this problem to occur:
- You open a project that contains more than one program that is saved on a network share.
- With all of the programs open in the project, you add some code to one of the programs.
- Before you save the new code, you switch to a different program in the same project.
- When you return to the modified program, the new code has disappeared.
To avoid this problem, save your modified programs on the network share directly from Windows by selecting Save program as ► My Computer ► network share ► Save.
