Problem Note 60011: The HP Regression node models an ordinal target as a nominal target
In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the HP Regression node supports interval, binary, nominal, and ordinal target variables. However, if you try to model an ordinal target, then the node instead models a nominal target. As a result, you do not obtain an ordinal logistic regression.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate that the result is not an ordinal logistic regression.
To work around the problem, use the Regression node instead.
