SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office might display the following error when you select SAS Favorites ► Manage Favorites on the SAS^® ribbon:

The calling thread must be STA, because many UI components require this.

Alternatively, you might see this error:

This type of CollectionView does not support changes to its SourceCollection from a thread different from the Dispatcher thread.

As a workaround, access Manage Favorites from SAS^® Central instead of from the SAS ribbon.
