Problem Note 60007: A "Segmentation Violation" error might occur when you use DATA step views within a large number of macro loops

If you use DATA step views within thousands of macro iterations, memory can increase until the MEMSIZE limit is reached. This can result in errors like the following:
ERROR: XOB failure detected. Aborted during the COMPILATION phase.
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.

A possible circumvention is to use temporary data sets instead of data views. This avoids the out-of-memory condition.
