Problem Note 59873: SAS® tracing information is truncated when using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Netezza
When you are using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Netezza in the first maintenance release for SAS® 9.4 (TS1M1) under the following conditions, the tracing information in the SAS log might be truncated:
- Your system is configured for UTF-8 encoding.
- You specify BULKUNLOAD=YES and BL_OPTIONS in a PRINT procedure step when you are accessing a Netezza table using the Netezza LIBNAME statement.
For example, you expect to see tracing information similar to the following in the SAS log:
NETEZZA_4: Executed: on connection 5
CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE 'BL_NEBLKTAB_1695259834.dat' USING ( DELIMITER '|'
REMOTESOURCE 'ODBC' NULLVALUE '' ) AS SELECT "BDATE", "NAME", "AGE", "SEX"
FROM TEST..NEBLKTAB ORDER BY name
NOTE: The PROCEDURE PRINT printed page 1.
Instead, you see truncated tracing information similar to the following in the SAS log:
NETEZZA_4: Executed: on connection 5
C
NOTE: The PROCEDURE PRINT printed page 1.
