Problem Note 59785: Updating an Oracle table via the META engine results in a U1335 error
Under z/OS, when you try to update an Oracle table using the META engine, a U1335 error might occur. The error in the JES log looks similar to the following:

The only workaround is to use the Oracle engine rather than the META engine.
