Usage Note 59729: Forcing automatic refresh of Microsoft Excel PivotTables in SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office

By default, SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office does not connect to the SAS® Metadata Server to check for changes in the source data structure.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After the hot fix is applied, you can specify the following option in the SAS.OfficeAddin.dll.config file located in the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office installation directory.

When this option is defined, the SAS Metadata Server checks for metadata modifications each time a new file is opened.
