Problem Note 59636: Custom Detail values for a dynamic list do not render correctly in a campaign PDF document in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, Custom Detail values for a dynamic list do not render correctly in a campaign PDF document. This problem happens when you do the following:
- You use a database or a SAS table to dynamically populate a text field in a campaign, a communication, or a treatment's custom detail.
- Under Data Labels, you select a column label such as Supplier_Name, as shown below:
- You create a simple campaign using the campaign or communication definition or the treatment that you created earlier.
- Then you create a PDF document for the campaign.
When you perform these steps, the PDF document contains a value for Supplier_Code rather than a value for Supplier_Name , as expected. For example, the PDF might contain the supplier code EC3, as shown below:
This supplier code appears in the PDF even though you enter a supplier name (for example, Call and Close) in the campaign.
As a workaround, change the value for Number of values to Multiples values rather than Single values, as shown here:
