Problem Note 59490: You cannot re-enter the name of a Cell node that is created with a Split node in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, when you create a Split node that generates a Cell node, you cannot re-enter the same name for the Cell node.
This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:
- You create a campaign that has a Select node and a Split node, where the Split node has two Cell nodes (for example, CellA and CellB). Attached to those Cell nodes are also two Communication nodes, as shown below:
- Next, you change the split criteria, as shown in this display:
When you change the criteria, the name of the Cell node changes automatically to reflect the modified split criteria:
If you change the automatically modified name back to CellB, you receive the following pop-up message:
You can enter a different name (for example, CellB_1). However, the link to the Communication node is lost and, more importantly, any treatments that are linked to the Cell node are lost also, as shown in this diagram:
