Problem Note 59469: The sum of values in a row does not match the total reported by SAS® Financial Management

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you sum the values in a column of a SAS Financial Management read-only report or data-entry form, you might notice that the sum does not match the total reported by SAS Financial Management. In some cases, the totals reported by SAS Financial Management are correct, but not all of the values for the leaf members are correct.

This problem is most likely to occur when the dimension hierarchy displayed on the rows is very large (> 100,000 dimension members).

To work around the issue, complete these steps:

  1. Make a backup of the wrapper.conf files in the SAS-configuration-directory\Lev1\Web\WebAppServer\SASServer3_1\conf and SAS-configuration-directory\Lev1\Web\WebAppServerSASServer4_1\conf directories.

  2. Edit the wrapper.conf files in each directory and add the following option:
    wrapper.java.additional.##-Dodcs.use.query.cache=false
In the option above, ## is the number of the option if already specified, or the next available number in the list of options.

  3. Save the file and restart SASServer3, SASServer4, and SASServer5.
