Problem Note 59415: An error occurs when you run the Extended Customer View (EVC) ETL job in SAS® Customer Experience Analytics
When you run the Extended Customer View extract, transform, and load (ETL) job in SAS Customer Experience Analytics, the ETL job can fail. The job fails when a numeric value exceeds eight digits and is incorrectly converted to a character value and when the job tries to update the ECVrunfile.sas file. When the failure occurs, the following error appears in the log.
ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required. The condition was: 1.0004E8-1.0004E8
ERROR: The macro CXT_ECVCHKINTEGRITY will stop executing.
ERROR: "Process Run Files" transform detected an err condition.
ERROR: Forcing SAS system to detect error condition.
ERROR: Execution terminated by an ABORT statement at line 1255 column 27. _ERROR_=1 _N_=1
ERROR: Errors printed on page 34.
As a workaround for this problem, follow the steps below.
- Click here to access a corrected version of the CXT_ECVCHKINTEGRITY macro. Save the corrected macro to the default sasautos directory: SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/.../sasautos/.
- Execute the failed job (cxt_3400_ecv_CEAUPDATES) and run the ECV flow.
