SAS Federation Server returns column names from a query in uppercase letters regardless of their case in the underlying table. This behavior can lead to various problems when using in-line views such as "column not found" errors.
The problem occurs when column names are specified without the use of quotation marks. Here is an example of a query that causes the problem:
Select col1, col2, col3 from table
In this example, the result set is returned with the following column names:
COL1, COL2, COL3
