Problem Note 59381: Using the %SYSRPUT statement results in invalid characters
You might encounter a problem in which the %SYSRPUT statement returns invalid characters. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- A SAS/CONNECT® client under z/OS is connected to a remote host.
- The remote host is executing an earlier release of SAS than what is being run on the client.
This issue is also seen when the remote host is running SAS® 9.4 TS1M3.
