Problem Note 59088: Adding or editing text for an SMS or ASP broadcast in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio results in the addition of spurious line feeds

Adding or editing text for a Short Message Service (SMS) or an Application Service Provider (ASP) broadcast in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio might result in additional spurious line feeds. This issue occurs when the message text includes a variable (for example, the {{FORENAME}} variable).
The additional line feeds are added to the end of the text message, and more line feeds are added each time you open and close the Broadcast Content dialog box. Some SMS and ASP providers display the line-feed characters to the recipient. Also, some SMS and ASP providers charge by the number of characters that are sent, including line feeds.
To work around the problem, create or edit the text for an SMS or ASP broadcast in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio.
