Installation Note 59945: The configuration process fails and an error occurs when you configure the SAS® Environment Manager middle tier
SAS® Deployment Wizard reports the error that is shown below when the database administrator account (dbmsowner) password for SAS® Web Infrastructure Platform Data Server includes multiple dollar signs ($$). When the failure occurs, a message similar to the following is displayed in SAS Deployment Wizard "Failed to create the database Administration":
In addition, a message similar to the following is also displayed in admappmid_loadServerContent_datetime.log file:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "dbmsowner"
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Use a dbmsowner password that includes no more than one dollar sign.
