The SAS Digital Marketing server is not supported in a clustered environment, but the SAS^® Customer Intelligence web application servers can be clustered. In this type of environment, the system might not be able to connect to the SAS Digital Marketing server following a system restart.

In SAS^® Customer Intelligence Studio, you might see that the E-mail Broadcasts and SMS Broadcasts options are unavailable (grayed out) and cannot be selected.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

After you apply the hot fix, add the following Java arguments to your start-up scripts (or your wrapper.conf files, if you start up as a Microsoft Windows service) for SASServer6_1 on each of your web application servers:

Then, restart your complete system to ensure that the new option values are used.
