Problem Note 58795: A SAS® Digital Marketing email broadcast incorrectly executes when Design and Production tables differ
In SAS Digital Marketing, having different Production and Design tables might result in incorrect variables being used. This problem might occur when you create content for an email broadcast in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio. If the Production Recipient type list is a SAS Customer Intelligence export definition, it is not possible to use this as the Design table. You need to use a separate JDBC table or distribution list as the Design Recipient type list.
When you create content in SAS Digital Marketing Studio, you do not have the option to choose a separate Design table, so this issue is not present.
From SAS Digital Marketing 6.4, for email broadcasts, a comparison is made between the Design and Production tables to verify that the fields match in order to prevent these problems. However, not all fields are checked.
As a workaround, you can manually verify that the fields in both tables match.
