Problem Note 58734: Using the SQOOP procedure to export or import data generates errors in the Oozie workflow

After you successfully submit PROC SQOOP from SAS, the job might not complete and you might see an error. If the SAS editor seems to run without error but the Oozie job ID is not generated or cannot be confirmed in the Oozie web console, there is a problem with the Oozie job submission from SAS. You can confirm that the job was submitted by checking the Oozie web console.
If this issue occurs, check the version of Oozie that you are running. If you are using a version of Oozie 4.1 or later, click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix.
Workaround
You can still perform this process outside of SAS by using the SQOOP command-line interface for Hadoop.
