Problem Note 58726: A "Read access denied" error occurs when you read or write to a Hive table in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Hadoop

If you read or write to a Hive table in SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop, a "Read access denied" error might occur.
The problem occurs because SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop artificially restricts access to Hive tables that are partitioned by unusual partition column types.
Read access is restricted for the following partition column types:
- TIMESTAMP
- TINYINT
- SMALLINT
- DECIMAL
- BOOLEAN
- FLOAT
- DOUBLE
- BINARY
- ARRAY
- MAP
- STRUCT
- UNION
Write access is restricted for these partition column types:
- TIMESTAMP
- TINYINT
- SMALLINT
- DECIMAL
