Problem Note 58479: A "Missing mandatory argument" error occurs when you try to execute the SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server performance monitor (spdsperf)
Attempting to use spdsperf, the performance monitoring server, in SAS SPD Server 5.2 generates the following error:
NSPORT=5500
SNPORT=5501
PARGS=-c 0 -i 3 -q
Missing mandatory argument: -n (Name Server Pid)
Missing mandatory argument: -s (SNet Server Pid)
Missing mandatory argument: -p (Profiler Listening Port Number)
The problem occurs because the shared memory ID for the spdsbase process is not returned during the memory address lookup.
