Problem Note 58119: Numeric custom details are truncated in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio when the regional number format contains blanks
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, numeric custom details are truncated when the regional number format contains blanks. You might encounter this issue when you perform the following steps:
- Log onto SAS Customer Intelligence Studio.
- Select File ► Preferences ► Global Preferences and change your locale preference (for example, you change to French - France).
- Create a simple campaign, communication, or treatment custom detail of type NUMERIC.
- Use this campaign, communication, or treatment custom detail in a simple campaign and enter 123456789 as a value.
- As soon you press Enter, the value is truncated to 789.
Note: This same problem happens when you use a Process node in the Custom Diagram tool. For example, if you enter a value such as 10,000 and you re-open the node, the value is truncated to 0.
This truncation problem happens only when the regional number format contains blanks:
As a workaround, change the SAS Customer Intelligence Studio locale preference to any locale that does not use blanks in the number format (for example, English - United States).
