Problem Note 58866: The NLMIXED procedure might abnormally terminate when the NTHREADS= option is specified
When you specify the NTHREADS=n option in PROC NLMIXED where n = -1 or n ≥ 1, the procedure uses multiple threads and might compute the derivatives of the log likelihood unnecessarily. If any of the derivatives cannot be evaluated, the procedure fails to complete. When enough resources are available, it is possible that the same model can be fit when NTHREADS=0 is specified or the NTHREADS= option is omitted.
