As a result of 2016 Software Evaluation and Recognition Program (SERP) recertification, new SERP engine patches are available for DataFlux^® Data Management Studio and DataFlux^® Data Management Server.

Note: DataFlux Data Management Server and DataFlux Data Management Studio are components of a number of SAS^® software offerings, including SAS^® Data Management and SAS^® Data Quality.

SERP is a program the Canadian Post administers use to certify address-verification software. Patches are released periodically to provide continued SERP compliance and for generation of Statement of Accuracy (SOA) reports. Canada Post SERP Version 2 Release 2, V2R2 is the only Canada Post data-pack version that is compatible with the latest patches.  

Where to Download the Patch for your Product/Version:  

• V2.7: The recommended approach is to apply Update1 for v2.7 (see Installation Note 61294). Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the specific hot fix for this issue instead.  

• V2.6: Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.  

• V2.5: Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to link to the DataFlux Patch download page, then search by patch number.  Also see the Important Patch Installation Note below for v2.5.

• V2.4 or older products: Refer to SAS Note 52639 instead (includes DataFlux^® dfPower^® v8.x or DataFlux^® dfIntelliServer™ v8.x).

Important Note For Users of DataFlux Data Management Server 2.5 and DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.5:

For release 2.5 of both DataFlux Data Management Server and DataFlux Data Management Studio, be sure to verify that the update1 file is installed before you apply the patches in the hot fix.

If the update1 file exists, you can proceed to apply the patches. If the file does not exist, contact Technical Support and provide the complete list of files in your directory. Or, see SAS Note 57095, "A SAS^® Data Management job that can obtain information about the SAS Data Management installation environment," for help with collecting the information that you need before you apply the patches.

You can verify that update1 is installed by searching for it in the following directories:

• For DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.5: SASHome\DataFluxDataManagementStudio\2.5\data\install\patch.update1.meta
• For DataFlux Data Management Server 2.5: SASHome\DataFluxDataManagementServer\2.5\data\install\patch.update1.meta
