Problem Note 57865: Tracking information is not added to new links when you define new content while you edit a broadcast in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio
In SAS Digital Marketing Studio, you can define new content for an existing broadcast while you are on the Edit HTML page. You select Actions►Define New Content and then, in the wizard, you use different HTML content from the original broadcast. If the HTML content is updated with new or amended links, the links fail to be updated with the tracking information. When recipients of these broadcasts click the new or amended links, the click is not registered as a response.
To work around the problem, do not open the broadcast to define new content for it. Rather, from the list of broadcasts that are displayed in SAS Digital Marketing Studio, right-click the broadcast and choose Define New Content. Any new or amended links in the revised HTML content are then correctly updated with the tracking information.
