Problem Note 57657: When you use the SAS® Management Console plug-in for SAS® SPD Server 5.1 to connect to older SPD Server releases, an SPDSSERV connection error occurs

When you are using the SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server 5.1 plug-in that is provided with SAS 9.4 and SPD Server 5.1, connecting to an older server (such as 4.52 or 4.53) fails.
The plug-in generates an invalid username/password message and the following error is written to the server log.
10/31/15 16:48:56:(7932) SPDSSERV- Error on connection, client version (4.50) older than server (4.53) (or 4.52 if connect to that server)
