In the Filter and Sort task, a beginning and ending value for the Between and Not Between operators might not be saved in the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office or in SAS Enterprise Guide.

Here are two workarounds:

• Modify the filter manually in Advanced Edit window.
• Use Filter and Sort with two filters. For example, you might specify AGE >= 12 AND Age <= 15 instead of AGE BETWEEN 12 AND 15.
