Usage Note 57337: In SAS® Enterprise GRC, the validator can return an incident to a specific stage when rejecting the incident during validation

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Enterprise GRC, a new configuration option enables the incident validator to reject an incident and choose the stage to which the incident should be returned. With this option, the validator can also return an incident-related business object, such as a recovery or financial effect, to a selected stage.

To enable this capability, specify the following configuration property in the configdata.properties file:

monitor.validation.modifyDataWithValidation = true

To enable this configuration option, you must also disable the workflows for incident management objects in the SAS® Management Console.

When the option is enabled and the validator clicks Return from Validation, a new Stage column appears for each of the incident components. The Stage column contains a drop-down list from which the validator can select a validation stage.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
