Problem Note 57108: SAS® Data Integration Studio command-line batch deployments fail and return the error "Unable to initialize the metadata factory"

In SAS Data Integration Studio, if you change the name of the metadata repository from the default name Foundation, command-line batch deployments fail and produce the following errors:
ERROR Unable to initialize the metadata factory.
com.sas.metadata.remote.MdException: CORBA does not allow a null string to be used as a parameter
for a remote method call. Often, an empty string is an acceptable substitute for a null string.
To work around this problem, do not modify the name of the metadata repository from the default name Foundation.
