Problem Note 57719: When running in a non-English language, SAS® Enterprise Guide® might incorrectly process numeric prompts that use a range of decimal values
SAS Enterprise Guide might incorrectly process numeric prompts that use a range of decimal values. This problem has been reported when SAS Enterprise Guide is running in a language that uses a comma as the decimal separator. For example, this issue might be encountered when SAS Enterprise Guide is running in Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
Specifically, SAS Enterprise Guide multiplies the prompt values by 10. So, if you create a prompt with a minimum value of 0,1
and a maximum value of 0,5
, SAS Enterprise Guide converts these values to 1
and 5
, respectively. In addition, SAS Enterprise Guide might continue to multiply these values by 10 each time you open and save the prompt definition.
