In order to launch SAS Forecast Studio via the Java Web Start client, the correct Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version needs to be installed on your client machine. This note documents the compatibility between Base SAS^®, SAS Forecast Server, and JRE versions.

To identify which JRE version you currently have installed on your client machine, navigate to Start ► Control Panel ► Programs ► Java. Select the Java tab in the Java Control Panel, and click View... as shown below.
