Problem Note 57440: Exception reports are not generated in SAS® IT Resource Management 3.7 and later unless you explicitly add the fonts location in the whitelist
In SAS IT Resource Management 3.7 and later, exception jobs might fail to create an exception report. When this failure occurs, the following error message is generated in the SAS log:
ERROR: The PNG driver can not find any fonts. No output will be created.
This error occurs when the SAS® System is in a locked-down state.
To circumvent the error, you need to manually specify the lockdown path location of where the report fonts are installed on your system. You specify this path in the appserver_autoexec_usermods.sas file that is associated with your installation. The default directory for this file is !SASHOME/ReportFontsforClients/9.4. For example, for SAS IT Resource Management Window server installations, you specify the following option:
lockdown path="C:\Program Files\SASHome\ReportFontsforClients\9.4"
For additional information about the lock-down state of servers, see the SAS® 9.4 Intelligence Platform: Security Administration Guide, Second Edition.
