DATA step programs that were originally deployed in the Schedule Manager of SAS® Management Console are displayed in the Deployed job folder on the Inventory tab of SAS Data Integration Studio alongside jobs that were originally deployed in SAS Data Integration Studio. In SAS Data Integration Studio, if you attempt to redeploy a job that was initially deployed in the Schedule Manager, the action fails and you receive the following error:
This problem causes the source code of the deployed job to be overwritten by "VERIFYING WRITE TO FILE," which removes all of the functionality of the deployed job. In order to recover the deployed job, you must use the Schedule Manager to redeploy the job from its original source.
Jobs initially deployed in SAS Data Integration Studio redeploy without issue. However, if you have a large number of jobs to redeploy or you are trying to redeploy all of the jobs at once, there is no way to determine which jobs were not created in SAS Data Integration studio.
