The IBM Red Alert "z/OS Unicode Services Conversion Information Service fails after December 15, 2015" affects all releases of SAS software that run in the z/OS operating environment.

IBM has posted a Red Alert Notification to its customers regarding a defect that was introduced in z/OS release 1.10 and continues to apply to all current releases of z/OS. Currently, IBM APARs OA48941 (z/OS releases 1.13, 2.1, 2.2) and OA48989 (z/OS releases 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12) contain the details of the problem.
