Problem Note 56774: Creating or updating a file might cause corruption or failure in a zFS file system under z/OS Version 2 Release 2 (V2R2)
When you run z/OS V2R2, writing to a file that is greater than two gigabytes (GB) in size in a zFS file system could cause the file to be corrupted.
When you run z/OS V2R2, creating a new file that is greater than two GB in size in a zFS file system fails in SAS® software. You might receive the message "insufficient space detected."
In both of these cases, contact IBM to obtain the fix associated with APAR OA49051, a High Impact and Pervasive problem with large files in a zFS. This problem is not limited to SAS software.
