When SAS OLAP cubes are rebuilt using updated dimension formats, the updated formats are not reloaded into the cache for the active SAS^® OLAP Server. As a result, the rebuilt cubes might return the following error when you attempt to access them:

ERROR: Member name not found in cube. Data value "xxx" found in 
aggregation table xxx is not a valid member of the cube

To resolve this issue, restart the SAS OLAP Server. Restarting the server loads the updated dimension formats into the cache so that they are available next time you access the updated cube.
