Problem Note 56729: Retraining a model in SAS® Model Manager returns "ERROR: MM_SetModelMapping: Procedure failed, RC = -S- ..."

In SAS Model Manager, when retraining a model that has many project-output variables, the log might include the following error:
ERROR: MM_SetModelMapping: Procedure failed, RC = -S-.
TRACE: MM_SetModelMapping: Logout completed, RC = 1.
ERROR: MM_SetModelMapping: Procedure failed, RC = 4.
The error is caused by a length limitation in the underlying macro that generates the project output variables.
A workaround is to modify the model within SAS®Enterprise Miner™ when feasible, so that there are fewer project-output variables.
