Problem Note 56652: SAS® Add-In 7.11 for Microsoft Office files that contain SAS® Visual Analytics reports might be too large to email
Beginning with SAS Add-In 7.11 for Microsoft Office, the state of the SAS Visual Analytics report is saved with a Microsoft Office file. Using the saved state of the report improves the performance of report interactions in Microsoft Office.
However, saving the state of the SAS Visual Analytics report increases the size of the Microsoft Office file. As a result, the file might be too large to send via email.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After the hot fix is applied, you can decrease the size of the Microsoft Office file by removing the report state. To do so, perform these steps:
- Select the SAS Visual Analytics report in the Manage Content dialog box on the SAS ribbon in Microsoft Office.
- Click Remove SAS Links.
Note: After you remove the SAS links, the SAS Visual Analytics report becomes static information that you cannot refresh.
- Click OK to save the change and close the dialog box.
