Problem Note 56567: SAS® Marketing Automation Integration Utilities might fail when a folder has the same name as the extracted object

When you use SAS Marketing Automation Integration Utilities to extract SAS® Customer Intelligence objects (for example, campaigns), you might encounter the following error message in the maextract log:

The error occurs when a folder has the same name as the extracted SAS Customer Intelligence object, as shown in the example below:

To avoid this problem, do one of the following:

  • Ensure that you do not have a SAS Customer Intelligence object with the same name as a folder.
  • Use the <folder> tag in the input request XML file to explicitly extract just the contents of that folder.
