Problem Note 56541: Your attempt to log on to SAS® Federation Server fails with “Connection failed” or other error messages
If your SAS Federation Server password contains any of the following characters ('~!@#$%^&*()-_=+[]{}|;:,.<>/?'.), logon might fail and you might receive one of the following error messages:
Connection failed. Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that
other memory is corrupt.
Error occurred while connecting to data source: [08102] Connection string, DSN
or file DSN syntax or usage error (-2130708428);[HY000]Parsing failed at or near
column XXX: Columns XXX-XXX = "xaug;PWD=XXXXXX" (-2126518256);[HY000] Illegal
value token specified. (-2126518261).
To work around this problem, do not use these characters in your password. If you are required to use these characters as part of your password, install the hot fix.
