Usage Note 56305: In SAS® Enterprise GRC, you can specify new configuration options to disable automatic revalidation of migrated tests and test definitions
Test definitions and tests that were migrated from previous versions of SAS Enterprise GRC might need to be resubmitted for validation, if they were not fully validated prior to migration. If the status of a test or test definition was "In Process" before migration, then the status might be changed to "Return to Originator" in the migrated system. When the status is changed, the originator must restart the validation process for the test or test definition.
In SAS Enterprise GRC 5.1M5 and later, you can specify new configuration options to disable the automatic status change for migrated tests and test definitions. The new options apply to tests and test definitions that were not fully validated prior to migration. When the status change is disabled, the originator does not need to restart the validation process for a migrated test or test definition.
You can specify that the status of in-process, migrated test definitions should not be reset, using the following new configuration property:
monitor.controlTesting.testDefinitions.resetStatusInNewWorkflow = false
You can specify that the status of in-process, migrated tests should not be reset, using the following new configuration property:
monitor.controlTesting.tests.resetStatusInNewWorkflow = false
Note: When the automatic status change is disabled, the associated workflow must contain a decision node to route the object to the correct activity, based on the object's validation status.
