Problem Note 56280: SAS® Enterprise Guide® might return the error "Invalid server"
If you change the output data location in the results property of a task in SAS Enterprise Guide, you see the following error if the server name contains a colon (:) character:
Invalid server: This data set is restricted to the "SAS:App" server.
Ensure that you are using the "SAS:App" server.
This problem does not occur if the default destination for the task is kept.
To work around this problem, do not include a colon when you define the server using the Server Manager plug-in to SAS® Management Console.
