Problem Note 56153: Multiple spaces in HTML statements are reduced to a single space when you create and save a broadcast in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio

When you create SAS® Digital Marketing broadcast content in the SAS Customer Intelligence Studio HTML editor, multiple spaces in an HTML statement are reduced to a single space when you save the broadcast.

For example, suppose you have the following HTML statement:

<p>Hello&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;world</p>

This statement should render with multiple spaces, as shown below:

Hello      world

However, when you save this HTML statement, it is reduced to the following:

<p>Hello world</p>
Then, the truncated version below is rendered when the email is broadcast.

Hello world
