Problem Note 55332: When you export data to Teradata from a product such as SAS® Enterprise Guide®, date and datetime values do not appear in the proper format
When you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata and you export data from a SAS product such as SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the formatting of date and datetime values is not carried over. The problem occurs because SAS date and datetime values are stored as numbers (floating-point integer values) in Teradata, instead of in a regular date format.
This formatting issue does not occur when you run SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata with Base SAS® when no solution is used.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
When you export SAS date and datetime values to Teradata, the dates are stored as floating-point integers rather than as actual dates. The problem occurs when you run SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata in SAS Enterprise Guide and other solutions.
